Fast-paced high stakes action. Yael's painful history and commitment to the mission make Wolf by Wolf not just another adventure story though. Great characters and strong emotion mean it'll stay with you long after the last page.

The Curse Workers Trilogy is full of plot twists and mysteries to be unraveled. It kept me guessing through all three books, and offers a delicious mix of con men and dark magic.

Beautiful and compelling artwork, with a complex and thoughtful story. It's a promising start to a new series. Black Panther #1 introduces T'Challa, who debuted onscreen in Captain America: Civil War, and the African nation of Wakanda. I couldn't put this one down. Fast, exciting and suspenseful science fiction.
Fantastic in audio! I didn't think the document and interview format would work in audio, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Strong performances from a multi-voice cast and cool sound effects made the story come alive. It felt like I was listening to a movie.I couldn't put this one down. With a spirit world layered just over ours and mythical creatures that spill over to threaten reality, The Girl With Ghost Eyes has the hallmarks of urban fantasy. But well-researched folklore and the intricate customs and social structure of San Francisco's turn of the century immigrant community make this debut fantasy feel like nothing you've read before.
If you're looking for rich, folklore-based fantasy in a vivid moment of history, The Girl with Ghost Eyes will satisfy. Chinatown's immigrant community is delivered with an action-packed punch.

Summary:
It’s the end of the nineteenth century in San Francisco’s Chinatown, and ghost hunters from the Maoshan traditions of Daoism keep malevolent spiritual forces at bay. Li-lin, the daughter of a renowned Daoshi exorcist, is a young widow burdened with yin eyes—the unique ability to see the spirit world. Her spiritual visions and the death of her husband bring shame to Li-lin and her father—and shame is not something this immigrant family can afford. When a sorcerer cripples her father, terrible plans are set in motion, and only Li-lin can stop them. To aid her are her martial arts and a peachwood sword, her burning paper talismans, and a wisecracking spirit in the form of a human eyeball tucked away in her pocket. Navigating the dangerous alleys and backrooms of a male-dominated Chinatown, Li-lin must confront evil spirits, gangsters, and soulstealers before the sorcerer’s ritual summons an ancient evil that could burn Chinatown to the ground. With a rich and inventive historical setting, nonstop martial arts action, authentic Chinese magic, and bizarre monsters from Asian folklore, The Girl with Ghost Eyes is also the poignant story of a young immigrant searching to find her place beside the long shadow of a demanding father and the stigma of widowhood. In a Chinatown caught between tradition and modernity, one woman may be the key to holding everything together.
