the lost hero was awesome, it continually gave me excitement, and interest to keep on reading, instead of most books where its from one characters view this book changes characters every chapter! I was hooked from the beginning because unlike the last series (Percy Jackson) there was action and fights almost every chapter. This book also connects two types of mythology (Greek and Roman ) and it is a continuation of the last series.
Tip: read Percy Jackson first it will give you a good understanding of the book
5 STARS! book is sooooooo goooood!
I liked this as much as I liked the first one.A "adult topic" does come up in the last book of this series (No major spoilers that will ruin your life!) it pretty much evolves around a key character. If you can though, please read. You will LOVE it!!!!! Prepare to meet new friends, old friends, old enemies, new enemies, and a very insane satyr, excuse me,I mean faun!!!
the sequel to percy jackson is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. its funny, adventuring, and a never forgetting story soooooooooooo............................ please put your seat belt on and enjoy this amazing book.
This book was AMAZING! If your considering reading this series you should definitely read the Percy Jackson series first because you’ll be able to make more connections.
This book is mixed with suspense and adventure! Perfect for Percy Jackson fans, people who love Greek Mythology, and anyone else! Be prepared, because you will get attached!
i lovvvvvveeeeee thisssssssssssssssssssssssssss booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook
I enjoyed this at first, but it dragged on way too long. 8 hours would have been great, but NOT 17 hours.
I also think that this it a great book. The action is in a turn of a page! READ THIS BOOK NOW!!!!!
Amazing book, great to read if you have a lot of time or when you're bored. Told my friends to read it and they all loved it, you will to.
This is the first book in the second series that follows Riordan's 'Percy Jackson' characters. This book introduces some new characters and a whole new set of problems. Instead of facing war against the titan's the half-bloods are threatened by an even stronger enemy. Fans of Percy Jackson will be easily captivated by this story and the rest of the books in the 'Heroes of Olympus' series.
This is the first book in my favorite series of all time. I've read it at least 30 times, and I'm STILL not tired of it! It's action-packed, full of cute couples, awesome friends, and exciting twists! Don't miss the next 4 books in the series! (The Son of Neptune, The Mark of Athena (personally my favorite), The House of Hades, and The Blood of Olympus) Also, don't forget to read Percy Jackson and the Olympians FIRST before reading The Heros of Olympus. And don't miss out on Rick Riordan's other books!
Magnus Chase (and the Gods of Asgard): The Sword of Summer, The Hammer of Thor, The Ship of the Dead
Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, The Serpent's Shadow
Trials of Apollo: The, The, The Burning Maze, + 2 more coming
AND EXTRA SIDE STORIES:
-guide to camp half-blood
+SO MANY MORE

this book was exciting, I can't wait to finish the whole series even! It includes romance, adventure, fun, funny, scary, and a whole lot more! I would recommend this book to anyone if I have to. It was almost the best series I've read!
"The Lost Hero" is an amazing book. It is filled with plenty of humour and loads of suspense as a multitude of new characters are introduced. In this book, Rick Riordan has successfully created another jaw-dropping cliff-hanger ending to leave any Percy Jackson fans stunned. "The Lost Hero" is written from the perspective of three new characters, Jason, Piper and Leo giving the book many thrilling and startling perspectives. I would recommend this book (and the rest of the series) to anyone who has recently finished "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" as it contains many of the same characters and allows you to go on even more adventures with your favourite demi-gods from Camp Half-Blood.
Rick Riordan does it AGAIN! It's awesome. And to Percy Jackson fans who got confused, don't worry. It IS a Percy Jackson Book. Athough there's no Percabeth time :(
The novel, “The Lost Hero” by Rick Riordan is a suspense ridden and action-filled narrative. It is written from the perspective of three characters, Jason, Piper, and Leo. This aspect makes the book very intriguing as it creates dramatic irony and it shows various point of views for the scenes. In addition, the connection to Greek mythology also incorporates more aspects that make the novel more interesting. At first, the book starts off very slow as the reader doesn’t necessarily understand what's going on. But as moments pass, the book delivers some exciting battles and scenarios. The aspect of mystery adds another level of suspense that compels the reader to continue reading. Multiple conflicts rise throughout the story that draw attention away from the main conflict, but discovering how they are dealt with is truly interesting. Also, the messages conveyed through the story are very direct and enforcing because the novel shows the importance of teamwork and perseverance. The writers use of imagery allows the reader to create pictures and generate feelings about the scenes. This feature makes the reader want to continue reading to obtain more information. It is also a great start to the series and is intertwined with the “Percy Jackson” series. This novel is a good read for those seeking a thrilling and dramatic story that's driven by suspense and unusual adventures.
Not as good as the Percy Jackson Or Magnus Chase books, but its okay ish. Kinda slow. Not as funny, but not to bad
this book is one of the best books by Rick Riordan this is because the adventures are crazy and fun. The best part is when they all team up together to try and keep the giant king from rising again and the way Hera takes Jason's memory and made piper and Leo think that they knew Jason makes it even better.
