This is an excellent mystery, full of suspense. The characters are realistic and likeable, the forensics are interesting, and the author writes with authority and clarity.
A murdered woman is found tied in chains, her feet in a bucket of cement, and thrown off a bridge. Another manages to escape, only to be caught again by her killer. Evelyn James and detective David Milaski must try to catch the killer before he can pick another victim.
