Larry's got it all: a loving wife, good friends, a successful career, and a great home. Prone to speaking the unspeakable, honest to the point of insensitivity, Larry is a walking victim of misunderstandings and missed opportunities.

After seeing 3 and a half stars out of 5, I thought i was going to see some good reviews on the show, making mine one of the few negative reviews. But, after reading the comments, I have hope for the later seasons. I'm also happy to see a reference to the Jewish comedy style. Because yes, it is so.
Something I wanted to contribute is an astrological perspective on larry. He's a cancer. Week of the empath, to be more precise. This makes sense that he married someone who advocates for climate change and this could be his sensitive side being played out by his partner. Maybe he believes men cant show feelings. But, the fact that he's so.. self centered is actually a product of being too sensitive i.e. Insecure. This particular cancer is like an onion; many layers that make you cry as you try to get to its centre. Also. This is the most guarded cancer. they hide feelings and pain. Also, their mother. They do grant access to their inner most feelings once they trust you and they can be sweet and nostalgiac with those they trust. Like their mom. But all in all. His behavior reflects what happened in his most vulnerable stage(childhood), causing him tk develop a self protective nature. All this means is he was likely conditioned to think showing sensitivity is weak. Developed a thick skin. And found success doing so

Just finished watching Season 8 which was terrific and was disappointed by Season 1, it just doesn't have that hilarious vibe in all the episodes like the latter seasons. I think David is still finding his footing humor wise. I found myself fast forwarding quite a bit which I didn't do at all in Season 8. But there are still a few gems to look for in this season.

If you wanted to watch a show that looked like a college improve class, than this is for you. The actors are constantly speaking at the same time, to the point where (if you do not have subtitles on) you can not understand what is going on. The scenes do not look rehearsed, and the humor felt bland and unoriginal. Since I have seen Youtube series with better production value, I did not evn finish the first episode and I'll avoid the rest of the series.

There are plenty of cringe-worthy moments in Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David is a real A-hole most of the time and the series is just one social train wreck after another - of his own making. But that's the thing about train wrecks. They're awful, but impossible not to watch as they unfold.

Sometimes funny antics of despicable Larry David as he traverses LA / Hollywood's entertainment scene. Larry manages to play the social victim while acting a total jerk.

Five stars. No doubt. There are a few eipsodes where it offends but come on, it is a show.

If you like Seinfeld, then you'll love curb. Some themes are similar, but the cast and the improvising with colourful language is definitely more "real." This would be very difficult to produce because of the improvised humour; imagine doing any of these scenes without laughing.
