The creatures of the woodland are over-shadowed by the nearby nightmare world of polluted Megatropolis. One day, Wirral the Squirrel's woodland is destroyed by developers. But Wirral believes there exists a tropical island where all the animals live in harmony - Animalia. He joins with Froggo, a world-class amphibian balloonist, and Wilhamina, a girl squirrel, to seek this land.
