A very creative mystery which follows a man who goes to extremes to interview the only witness to his wife's death....his dog. Loved it. Read it years ago and recently re-read it.

A story of grief, loss, going crazy and finally getting on with life. Paul Iverson is convinced that if he can figure out how to teach his dog Lorelei how to speak, she will reveal to him the mystery of his wife Lexi’s death. Readers of psychological fiction will enjoy this one.

I fell in love with this book in the first chapter... What a cool idea for book... Instantly became one of my favorites..

I enjoyed this book, upsetting at times but a great story. Steve Carell will play the lead roll in the movie in 2013, knowing this ahead of reading the book made it that much more enjoyable, picturing him as Paul Iverson.

This book is a little weird, but so good. I think it has been seriously overlooked by readers.
