When you are 32 and discover that your mother has been heard weeping in the bathroom, that your brother has given up his career to be a do-nothing, and that your baby sister is Ivy-league smart, I suppose it is time to grow up. But not too fast! I love that Izzy is her own worst enemy (since I am mine, too), and that she can pull it all together at the end gives me hope. This installment is not as laugh-out-loud funny as previous "reports" but there is not a single page that is less than riveting. (And the good news it we didn't lose Henry after all; he was just taking a break from the madness that is the Spellman family.)

Another enjoyable addition to the series.

The Spellman series is a fun read and this one lives up to expectations. Izzy finally takes the plunge and agrees to take on the family business. In the process of trying to add clients, she continues to run into odd situations.

This entire series, overall, was well-written, fun, engaging and smart.

This is the fourth book in this series starring the delightfully dysfunctional family of private investigators. Former problem child Izzy has agreed to take over the family business, while pursuing a baffling missing-person mystery and resisting her mother's plots to marry her off to a successful professional man

I loved this series! It will probably be on the short list of series that I reread every few years. I love the pop culture references, (Dr Who!) and Izzy is one of my favorite female characters ever. I love the way this series is written, it kept me guessing and is insanely hard to put down.

I love this series! The writing style is very different and keeps the story moving. The chapters are short and have different formats which makes the books interesting to read - and they are very FUNNY!

The first three books in the Spellman series are definitely worth checking out before you read this fourth installment. The story revolves around a family of incredibly passionate, crazy unorthodox, characters. It's a faced paced, entertaining read.

This is the 4th in this hilarious mystery series. Features Isabel Spellman and her family who run a detective agency. It's hard to separate investigative techniques from business to one's personal life, and that's where the fun begins! If you like Janet Evanovitch, try this series. The first title is The Spellman Files.
