Rose, Lily, Jonquil, Hyacinth, Violet, Poppy, Daisy, Iris, Orchid, Lilac, Petunia and Pansy are the twelve princess sisters who are forced every night to dance with King Under Stone's son's, residents of the Underworld, at midnight till dawn. Their father, King Gregor, has tried many times to find out why there dancing slippers are in worn out rags every morning. He even asks some princes to try and figure it out, if they do they get to choose one of the twelve princesses as their bride AND they get the kingdom. all the princes who tried failed miserably and experienced a horrid end to their lives.The princesses and their governess, Anne, are accused of witchcraft in the killing of the 7 princes. Galen, the under gardener who is sweet on Rose the eldest, steps up to the challenge of figuring out why the sisters' dancing slippers are worn every morning. With Anne's life and the future of the kingdom at stake will Galen defeat the beings of the underworld?
