Average Rating:
Rate this:
Giraffe and Bird are not friends. Not even a little bit. Go ahead and ask them.
A giraffe and bird pester and annoy each other so much that they decide to go their separate ways, only to discover that they miss each other and, despite all that bickering, might have been good friends, after all. The text introduces synonyms, with bright, expressive art to tell the story.

This is a super cute story about "best frenemies", which I really enjoyed. However, the existence of the telephone pole confused me. I know it is essential to the plot and I can normally overlook this type of thing in a children's book, but it just struck me as odd this time. Still loved the story, the characters and the way they're illustrated are hilarious - the telephone wire/poles just threw me for a loop.
