Although as reported with a note when I turned The Betrayal in, I went ahead and read it and it didn't spoil the book but I see there is another copy in so far today April 20th and if it is still there, I will read it in the library to see what I missed.

i knew from the beginnin that it was her envious frivolous assistance

I've read most of Danielle Steel's novels and can say that this story was definitely her typical style. After expanding my horizons and reading or listening to stories about some very "strong" women, I find this style a bit boring for me. Would give it 6 out of 10 rating.

I just finished the book yesterday. I have to say I've been reading Danielle Steel since high school it was apparant to me from the beginning it was the assistant. It was also apparent to me that she would marry the fbi agent. Come on Danielle give me a break you can do better then this i've seen it for 30 years.

This book was very dry and clear cut, anyone could tell it was the assistant. It is a far distance away from her previous books such as Kalidescope.

I have always liked Danielle Steel but her last few I have not been able to get into. This one is one of her better books.
