The fourteenth Discworld novel.

Reality is all very well in small doses. It's a perfectly conventional and convenient way of neutralising the imagination. But sometimes when there's more than one reality at play, imagination just won't be neutralised, and the walls between realities come tumbling down. Unfortunately there's usually a damned good reason for there being walls between them in the first place. To keep things out. Things who want to make mischief and play havoc with the natural order.

Gardners
The fairies are back - but this time they don't just want your teeth. It's Midsummer Night - no time for dreaming. Because sometimes, when there's more than one reality at play, too much dreaming can make the walls between them come tumbling down.

I love stories about fae that throw glamour in your face and invite you to dance in the fairy rings--even though you'll never leave again. There's just so much in this book to adore. The sharp wit of the prose. The fun characters. The forest with all its twisted roots and steep mountains. The chase through Lancre castle is terrifying, the Morris Men dance is hilarious, and the comedy is, as always, top notch.

Terry Pratchett's best novel.
