This is an excellent character-driven story, with just the right amount of heart and humor. Science-loving Waylon just wants to understand the world, but people keep getting in the way and he ends up learning far more about understanding them than he ever would have expected. Highly relatable, engaging, and entertaining.

I am still reading it, but so far it was an amazing book.

P.S The reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because I could not click on it.

Waylon is a thoughtful, ingenious boy who comes up with some remarkable ways to solve a few difficulties at school and on the home front, as well. You will want to be best buddies with Waylon and join in his adventures.

A companion series to Clementine! Typical fourth grade boy antics and a great family story. Waylon is science-obsessed, which means there's lots of great STEM facts sprinkled throughout.
