Great Book if you're post injury, doing physio-rehab or just beginning to exercise again. The exercises are gentle and seem very "do-able" & I'm sure if you stick to it, the results will surprise you.

Great book to illustrate exercises to increase mobility and for stretching. Great addition to this author's DVDs. Canadian author and expert in this field.

Yet another book promoting the deeply harmful belief that Fibromyalgia--which has been proven again and again to be a neuro-endocrine illness (nervous system and endocrine system) can be cured through simple movement. In other words, that it is in the power of the sufferer to cure themselves and if they continue to be ill it is their fault.

Movement does help pain. Of course it does! It is a major part of symptom management for many people living with chronic pain conditions. But if movement were the cure, believe me, we'd see A LOT more people in recovery and back to their old lives instead of continuing to suffer under the huge stigma and ignorance that exists about Fibromyalgia.

Books like this are misinformation. If you are a sufferer of Fibro, take what you can from the exercises but trust that you are not failing to cure yourself because this method doesn't work for you. It's not your fault that you are ill.

Lastly! What a joke that our bodies are "designed to be pain-free". The author is a charlatan.
