"The first nine months of Donald Trump's term were stormy, outrageous--and absolutely mesmerizing. Now, thanks to his deep access to the West Wing, bestselling author Michael Wolff tells the riveting story of how Trump launched a tenure as volatile and fiery as the man himself. In this explosive book, Wolff provides a wealth of new details about the chaos in the Oval Office."-- Provided by publisher.

This is a great book to understand how Trump made his way to the White House without having any experience! Even if half the stories are true, it explains a lot of how the system allowed it to happen. This also explains that most Americans never learned how the government was designed to function! The multi-tiered system is foreign to Trump's thinking..

It's time that the fire be put out and this furious fool be removed from office. Impeachment now. Please don't delay further congress for the sake of the country and world and future generations act now.

Just finished this, and juxtaposed against the Mueller report, you can’t make this stuff up. Most of the actors left the WH and its any wonder people want to work there. Such a bad 2 years of a presidency with this book and the subsequent months post-Bannon till 2019.

It's like Vanity Fair on steroids - most striking is the description of Hope Hicks and leaves you wondering how in the world did she ever get the White House position.

Behold the worst president in the history of our country. It's no mystery why he casts such a profound spell over the poorly-educated, the barely employed, the financially desperate, and congenitally gullible.

This is one of the worst books I have ever read.

Poor Journalism, many points made have now proven to be lies. I also question HOW and WHY the Ottawa library purchased over 100 copies of this book. I believe it is due to political bias. I believe all decisions for purchases should be non-political.

The only thing I can say positive is I am happy I did not pay good money to purchase this book.

helps explain all the crazy conflicting media stories in early days of the totally unexpected
trump win. absolutely laugh out loud funny absurdity of a completely inexperienced crew trying to establish a presidency they had no real expectation of winning

Fake News anyone?

Fire and Fury – Inside the Trump Whitehouse is a book better suited for Americans. A reader can get lost in all of the persons named, unless you watch American news every night.

I agree with other reviewers that this book is an eye opener. I believe that Donald Trump is the least Presidential President ever to sit in the Oval Office. A man, who gives no respect, deserves no respect. He has an ego that is simply out of this world and one has to wonder how a man who cannot pay attention to details ever got to where he did. He has already changed American politics and it will not recover for perhaps 25 to 40 years. I hope we all survive his leadership, and I use that word loosely. I hope the American public wake up or that he is finally impeached.

David Frum’s ‘Trumpocracy’ and James Comey’s ‘A Higher Loyalty’ were easier to read. Senior Doctor-at-Bass-Fishing! D. A.

Yes, I was just in the Yarborough branch. Eleven copies on the shelf.
Big demand for this kiss and tell. I guess the Austin Public Library is rolling in the dough and can afford to waste money like this.

I wonder how many copies of the new Omarosa book are on order?

A few years ago, they also loaded up on Wendy Davis' autobiography.
None of them are on hold at this time!

Illustrated by this quote, don't believe everything you hear, read and sometimes see (Part 1 of 2):
“Do you condemn the actions of neo-Nazis? Do you condemn the actions of white supremacists?”

Some ninety minutes later he stood in the Diplomatic Reception Room, his eyes locked on to the teleprompter, and delivered a six-minute statement. Before getting to the point: “Our economy is now strong. The stock market continues to hit record highs, unemployment is at a sixteen-year low, and businesses are more optimistic than ever before. Companies are moving back to the United States and bringing many thousands of jobs with them. We have already created over one million jobs since I took office.”

Illustrated by this quote, don't believe everything you hear, read and sometimes see (Part 2 of 2):

And only then: “We must love each other, show affection for each other and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry and violence. . . . We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans. . . . Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

It was a reluctant mini-grovel. It was something of a restaging of the take-it-back birther speech about Obama during the campaign: much distraction and obfuscation, then a mumbled acknowledgment.
