A boy who's been a bully and hanging out with the wrong friends gets a new start after a memory-loss-inducing accident. He wakes up in a hospital room and has to learn his life again. When he gets back to school... he sees that different kids treat him like a hero and afraid of him. But can someone really change who he is, or will the old him merely come back over time?
Chase Ambrose wakes up in the hospital after falling off his roof. He doesn’t remember falling off the roof or anything else, he has amnesia. Chase learns facts about his past from others, he played football and was the team captain. He also learns that maybe he wasn’t a very nice person. He figures this out when he discovers that he had been sentenced to community service by the juvenile court system to perform service hours at a senior citizens’ home. Another indication about his character is how other students react to him when he walks down the halls at school. As Chase discovers more about his former self, he doesn’t like what he learns. He tries to reinvent himself but it is a difficult process because everyone is waiting for the old Chase to return.
