Michael Wolff, author of the bombshell bestseller Fire and Fury, once again takes us inside the Trump presidency to reveal a White House under siege.

Just one year into Donald Trump’s term as president, Michael Wolff told the electrifying story of a White House consumed by controversy, chaos, and intense rivalries. Fire and Fury, an instant sensation, defined the first phase of the Trump administration; now, in Siege, Wolff has written an equally essential and explosive book about a presidency that is under fire from almost every side.

At the outset of Trump’s second year as president, his situation is profoundly different. No longer tempered by experienced advisers, he is more impulsive and volatile than ever. But the wheels of justice are inexorably turning: Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt” haunts Trump every day, and other federal prosecutors are taking a deep dive into his business affairs. Many in the political establishment—even some members of his own administration—have turned on him and are dedicated to bringing him down. The Democrats see victory at the polls, and perhaps impeachment, in front of them. Trump, meanwhile, is certain he is invincible, making him all the more exposed and vulnerable. Week by week, as Trump becomes increasingly erratic, the question that lies at the heart of his tenure becomes ever more urgent: Will this most abnormal of presidencies at last reach the breaking point and implode?

Both a riveting narrative and a brilliant front-lines report, Siege provides an alarming and indelible portrait of a president like no other. Surrounded by enemies and blind to his peril, Trump is a raging, self-destructive inferno—and the most divisive leader in American history.

How do you make America great again by electing a family of grifters who have no plan?

This book describes the chaos and disfunction currently going on in the Trump White House. Steve Bannon's voice is loud in this book so I suspect Wolff interviewed him extensively before he wrote the book. According to Wolff, Bannon simply used Trump as a puppet to get his world wide agenda to shrink central governments and promote nationalism world wide. Wolff's book contains a lot of juicy gossip that I have not seen anywhere else. For example, Wolff claims that during Christmas of 2018 Trump was in the White House having an affair with a young aide while his wife and son were at their home in Florida. Much of this gossip needs to be verified.

It's even worse than you realize just seeing the outrageous things he does every day, when you see that he spends most of the day watching cable news getting info from Hannity instead of from the people who actually KNOW what is happening and what needs to be done, letting Fox set the agenda for the country. And he is desperate to be reelected so he wont go to jail. God help us.

Look who is barely literate. If you can’t have a reasoned, logical debate without hurling insults talk to my hand. Are you really saying you wish Hillary Clinton was President with Bill Clinton as First Man? Okay?

If even half of this book is true, it is very frightening. Trump apparently does not read, has no sense of history or geography, and has difficulty paying attention to oral briefings. Remember when he stated that he would surround himself with the best and the brightest? Well, look at how many of his inner circle have left, been indicted, fired, or shamed into a resignation. Now Sarah Sanders is leaving, making her the third communication spokesperson in 3 years. Bring back the Mooch! At least he was entertaining as he lied his way through news conferences!

Look, everyone! It’s another book about the Toad Fascist-in-Chief, to remind you of the consequences of low voter turnout. Hopefully, the publisher won't put his face on the cover this time—or at least supply a barf-bag and a blindfold with each copy. A few barely-literate Nazi sympathizers will object to my comments, sure. They can wait for the audio version. (I know books aren’t really their thing.)
