This was a great movie to watch. It was a boy named Soyer who didn't enjoy his life. One day, when he was cycling to school, he saw an injured dolphin. He asked a person to call someone. In a few minutes, the Clearwater Marine Hospital rescues her and takes care of her. Soyer starts spending lots of time with the people there and starts skipping school. Once his mom agrees to let him spend time at the Hospital, Soyer and the dolphin, Winter, share a very strong bond with each other. Soon, the people at the Hospital find out that Winter's tail is damaged. That caused the Hospital to get rid of her tail. That meant that she would need a prosthetic tail. Winter has to try on different tails but she just can't cope with the different types of tails. That was really bad because Winter could actually die without a prosthetic. The movie starts getting more and more interesting after that. The ending was honestly beautiful. This true story was just so inspiring and fun to watch. it was amazing to see how a beautiful creature can easily communicate and express its feelings to a human it feels safe with. I honestly loved the movie and it's story. It was incredible! I definetely recommend watching this movie. Rating- 4.5/5 @Vanilla of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Dolphin Tale is one of my all time favourite movies. Dolphin tale is the 1st movie in the Dolphin Tale series. There is also a sequel to this movie. This movie is based off a boy named Sawyer Nelson who was visiting the beach when he finds a young dolphin who gets caught in a trap and severely damages her tail. Though she is rescued and transported to Clearwater Marine Hospital, her tail cannot be saved. What the dolphin, now named Winter, needs is a miracle. She gets that miracle in the form of a marine biologist who find a way to help Winter swim again. This movie was so wonderfully executed, I loved it. This movie shows an amazing bond between Sawyer and Winter. Overall, this movie is heart-melting! 5/5. @TheBookWorm of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
