The Muppet's is a hilarious and loveable film whose targeted audience may be children yet appeals to all ages. The film’s humour is not very childish or immature as many other children’s films would have you think because much of it is breaking the fourth wall, which is incredibly funny and clever, and the comedy is spontaneous and random, making the movie all the more fun. It is a musical; however, the songs contribute to the humour in the film, and do not consist of deep, emotional ballads that seem out of place in the movie. The music keeps the film upbeat as well, and the cast does an excellent job of delivering the lines and songs in a funny way without making the cringe-full songs sound...cringey. Along with breaking the fourth wall, The Muppet's sees other unexpected twists that add more depth, and obviously humour, to what would seem like a stereotypical and cliché film. The sets for The Muppet's stage are gorgeous, the story is sweet and touching, and it’s very fun to see so many celebrities make cameos and appearances throughout the film. Overall, The Muppet's is a must-see movie, no matter how old you are. 5/5 stars. @demi.god.on.a.mission of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board They're back with a twist - the biggest Muppet's fan tries to save the original Muppet's franchise from being overthrown, and does it musically. This movie is reminiscent of the ways of the old Muppet movies; there is adventure and emotion and big name cameos as well. What stuck to me most about this movie is how genuine the Muppet characters are made to be, each with their unique personality, still true to themselves in this 2012 movie. - @spaghettibro of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
