I'm puzzled by the other comments on this book saying it was "repetitive" or "redundant". People! The author is showing us stuff we did not know before. It's either stuff that was left out or letting us see an event from another's viewpoint. This was a very good book, though there are some horrific scenes, some of which are mentioned multiple times as the characters are living and reliving these things day after day. I actually thought that was realistic about the plot. Even though the first scene takes place 28 years earlier than much of the book, its effect remains front and center with the sisters. That felt very real. The 2nd shooting was a bit strange. I felt like we were not given all the evidence. Everyone thought they knew who the shooter was, but what evidence did they base that on? Anyway, even though I figured out who the real shooter was early on, I still enjoyed this book very much. My first book by this author. I think I'll try another of her non-series books.
