Bad actors in our society are more likely to face the music because of the proliferation of online videos from bystanders' cellphone/GoPro/bodyCams showing the actual acts being played out. Their tried and true blame-the-victims defense arguments are no longer reliable get-out-of-jail-free-cards in courts anymore. This film instantly become a must see #MeToo film, and hope Carey Mulligan will win the Best Actress Oscar as Jodie Foster in The Accused (1988) and Hilary Swank in Boys Don't Cry (1999).
