Not All Disabilities are Visible, for Kids
Created by BPL_staff_children | 12 items
December 3rd is International Day of People with Disabilities. This year, we're focusing on understanding that not all disabilities are visible. The resources below are largely #OwnVoices, meaning the authors have personal experience with a visible or invisible disability. These stories are great ways to start a discussion with your kids about disabilities, the challenges one might face if their disability isn't visible, and how to support those with disabilities we can't easily see.
